IRC's Outlook

As a society, we are interested in the participation and promotion of safe, family-oriented, and ecologically friendly four-wheeling. We want to share our ideas with those new to the activity in terms of driver education, vehicle modifications, organized society runs, and resources for parts. We want to grow as a society by attracting more people who share our goals and enjoyment of four-wheeling and the outdoors.

We want to ensure the activity's future through active participation in land-use forums, preserving land for multi-usage, preventing permanent land closures, and advocating designations of areas specifically for the use of four-wheel drive vehicles.

We will continue to share the sport by organizing events such as the annual Island Rock Crawl, trail clean-ups, and rides for groups such as the Big Brother & Sister organizations.

We will continue to strive to change the public's negative perception of four-wheeling by continuing to set good examples through responsible driving, and by providing services whenever possible (such as helping PEP and SARBC).

We are proud of our accomplishments and we invite and challenge others to join in our society's efforts to promote and to adopt the philosophies of safe and responsible four-wheeling.
