IRC's GoalsThe Island Rock Crawlers (IRC) Society is a family oriented society that is comprised of members who share a common interest of the recreational activity of four-wheel driving. As a society, the IRC is governed by the rules of the Society Act, as well as the society's own general rules of conduct, a copy of which is included here. We also have a constitution and a collection of bylaws that are registered with the B.C. Registrar of Companies. The IRC as a society has major goals that we are striving to accomplish:
The IRC is very community- and environment- oriented with a wide variety of interests within the society. These interests involve camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, and virtually all other aspects of outdoor recreation. The IRC's position on outdoor recreation is quite simple: To protect, preserve, and improve our environment and the recreational opportunities that the outdoors provides us. |
