How to Join

To become a Regular Member, you need to:

• Be sponsored by a Society member
• Have an interest in four-wheeling (of course!)
• Be over 18 and have a valid drivers licence
• Have participated in at least four Society functions/outings coordinated by the Events Coordinator, and attended at least four Society meetings.

When you become eligible for membership, we will vote on your application by secret ballot. Membership dues are $55.00 per year (including 4WDABC dues), and are paid when you join, or at the Annual General Meeting in October.

You can become an Associate Member if you are the immediate family of a Regular Member. An Associate Member has all of the same rights as a Regular Member provided that they are eligible and pay the appropriate annual membership dues, $20.00. To be eligible, Associate members must have participated in at least four Society functions/outings coordinated by the Events Coordinator, and attended at least four Society meetings.

You can become a Corporate Member by nomination of the BOD and majority vote of the membership. Corporate members are usually business or individuals that contribute or support advertising or merchandise for the club and its functions.

Please note, a member may be dropped from the rolls of this Society due to non-participation, for example, if you don't attend at least one Society function over a six month period. Remember, societies like the Island Rock Crawlers can only succeed if everyone makes an effort be active in the club and contribute by participating in the various committees and events.
