Volume 9, Issue 5   Here is what you'll find inside:

It seems many of the events that have been taking place this summer have been competition style. We visit two this issue one in Drumheller, Alberta put on by the High Riders out of Red Deer and another at the Off-Road Expo in Abbotsford, BC. We also round up the last trail day for the Eaton Detroit Locker Trail Tour and a group of Canadians hit Billings Canyon in Colorado.

On the tech side we take on a TJ with a BDS long arm suspension system and an Advance Adapters 231 slip yoke eliminator kit. We also change out our bent aluminum Chevy drive shaft for something a bit tougher – steel.

A cool new tire hit our shop this month with the introduction of the all-new BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A km2. We walk through the first sizes and plan a full review for next issue. We also budget boost a FJ by Revtek.

For those into heavy winching and lots of lights and accessories – dual batteries are a must and we came across some super tough batteries from Enersys and a cool way to get them all connected from Sure Power. Enjoy – summer is over and the snow is coming!
